I buy and assess leather goods, and there is one calculation I do before anything else — before I look at the leather, the stitching or the hardware. I check the internal dimensions against what the buyer actually carries.

It sounds mundane. It is the reason most expensive bags end up unused. So let me do that calculation on the Rabeanco ALEX Tote Bag at $352.00, because the answer is genuinely decisive here, and then talk about the leather.

• No weight is published. Structured leather totes with metal chain hardware are not light, and empty weight is a real quality-of-life number for a bag you carry all day.
• No dust bag, care card, country of manufacture or warranty is mentioned. For a $352.00 leather good, all four are things buyers reasonably expect to see stated.

Credit where it is due — this is the interesting design feature. The metal chain T-toggles let you cinch the sides in or let them out, which changes the silhouette from a squared tote to a more tapered, bucket-like shape.
